Natural Wedding Photos Always Look Better

Capturing everything that happens on the wedding day is every couples dream as they can be looked at over and over again; professional digital wedding photographers are usually hired to ensure that memories of the day stay captured and ready to be looked at whenever the couple wants too. Many couples have DVD's made of their day, which are great for some special moments but you can't beat a traditional photo.

This isn't easy; creating that perfect shot if you are taking photographs without help as there is only so much you can do on your own without help. With the information here you may find taking photographs with a digital camera at a wedding a little easier.

Unless you know how to compensate or have taken the shot purposely for effect; remember the background is very important. Don't worry too much if you can't get a full body shot of the couple as you can get around this problem by taking a portrait shot of them which will solve the problem.

If there is bright sunlight or you are using flash, ask guests who are wearing glasses to remove them just for the shot or as an alternative they could turn their head slightly to the side. If there is someone in the group that you particularly want to take a photograph of but they are in a crowd then try using the zoom, it will give a good close-up that you wouldn't achieve any other way.

Natural, wedding photos always look better than staged ones but difficult to capture when you are too close so a powerful zoom lens is a great advantage. To avoid missing what will probably be great shots, don't put your camera down because with digital wedding photography you can guarantee the moment you do, something worthwhile will take place.

Probably the most important thing to remember with digital cameras is to have plenty of memory in your camera plus fresh batteries and the best way to ensure this is to always carry spares. As a general rule, if your camera is a 6 mega pixel resolution then you will need a large storage capacity card that will hold a few hundred shots at high resolution so a 1 gigabyte card should be sufficient.

High resolution images are generally clearer and have greater color depth but it also means they can be printed out at larger sizes. You can do this by saving albums on your personal computer to free up the space on your memory card or burn them to a CD or DVD.

One of the biggest advantages of digital wedding photography is the ease with which the images can be viewed on anything from a computer monitor to a large flat screen TV.
